Vision, Values and Ethos

‘Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.’

Our Mission Statement

In partnership with parents, carers and our governing board, our aim is to educate children who will:

  • Listen and communicate well and show an appreciation of diversity and inclusion
  • Understand that perseverance and resilience are the keys to unlocking all challenges
  • Take responsibility for their own actions and work well collaboratively with their peers and their teachers
  • Feel valued and valuable within our school and the wider community
  • Have a thirst for knowledge and positive attitude to learning and all aspects of school life
  • Are ambitious to be the very best versions of themselves

Our Vision

Our school governors and leaders are incredibly ambitious for our school’s future and are committed to working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to achieve our goals to be the excellent first school of choice for all parents and carers to want to send their children to.

We recognise the importance of an outward facing approach to school improvement and value any work with other schools – local, national and international. We are proud to work alongside our Local Authority and always look to support Leeds City Council’s key priorities.

We will uphold the highest expectations for all of our children and work tirelessly to remove any and all barriers to learning.

We will champion our wonderfully diverse community and will provide rich and varied opportunities to work in partnership with our families to support their children’s learning and development.

Above all, we will lead our school with a nurturing and inclusive approach and value the contribution that every child makes at our school.
